While I'm not fond of Denuvo myself, I do find your statement here to be a bit of a straw man-just because Denuvo's anti-tampering solutions reflected terrible performance results on systems does not equate to similar or identical results produced by their anti-cheat software. While the game itself is great and deserves every praise, I hope this will help people see more clearly into the current outrage and decide for themselves if this is enough of an issue to them or not. I can assume they got it dirt cheap due to no other developer wanting DAC in their game but I'm afraid the company's current disreputability is costing them more sales than what they saved on the price. Zero Hour does not use Denuvo Anti-Tamper, their other product the company is usually known for, which is even more untrusted due to recent outages in their online activation solution, developers citing performance problems and compatibility issues with the newest 12th gen Intel CPUs. It has been used in Doom Eternal previously but removed almost immediately due to overwhelming negative feedback and reportedly causing stability issues. It actually is, to general knowledge, the only game on Steam using (or rather planning to use) Denuvo anti-cheat.
